IN THE LABYRINTH / ONE TRAIL TO HEAVEN

We were lucky to meet one of the brightest representatives of the Swedish progressive psychedelic music scene, the artist and musician Peter Lindahl and his psychedelic folk band "In The Labyrinth". He founded the band In the Labyrinth and in the mid to late 1990s recorded a number of engaging albums in which Northern psychedelic folk blends harmoniously with Middle Eastern music. The band’s new compilation album "One Trail to Heaven" includes some of their most fascinating compositions as well as some previously unreleased material and alternate versions of songs from Peter’s exclusive personal archive. Produced and engineered by Peter Lindahl in his studio in Stockholm, Sweden. Compiled and released with an improved sound quality on Trail Records in 2011. Limited collector edition.

Trip Wave / A Retrospective Collection

Russian psychedelic/progressive music has quite a history as it developed over a number of years, but it is still not well known to the Western listener. This collection includes compositions, many previously unreleased, recorded over a 20 year period by very different bands from different parts of Russia. Musical originality was the main object of the selection process. The tracks are placed chronologically so that it’s easier to get a retrospective idea of the genre’s development. We hope that this collector’s edition featuring an enhanced sound quality will be a valuable gift to the connoisseurs of unconventional music all over the world.

This album is a collection of the bands most original and impressive live performances from the 1997 to 2005 period. Although these gripping, partly improvisational compositions were recorded at different times and on different locations, we tried to preserve the magical aura of the integrity and drive that is characteristic of this legendary bands live performances... And speaking about the drive, its worth mentioning that the sound on several of the previously unreleased compositions on this album was engineered by Krist Novoselic of Nirvana. Some of materials was previously released on (out-of-print) album "Here & Now". This collectors item was edited, remastered and produced with improved sound quality, which further enhances the amazing experience of the cosmic rock-journey into the exquisite poetic world of Sky Cries Mary. Their music is "folklore from nowhere" fuse of ancient shamanistic Siberian folk with modern contemporary traditions. BEYOND - O - MATIC / TIME TO GET UP

Trail Records has released "Time To Get Up" - the album of San Francisco"s space rock band Beyond-0- Matic. This album is a mix of psychotic mind bending melodic jams with extended trippy "Can" like loopy textures. The collection of conventional and non conventional instruments such as electric accordion, the long stiff finger of doom, the cross5 guitar, flute, melodeon, harmonium has been occasionally used for multi instrumental improvisational works during the studio recording sessions in 2003-2004.
